Sfiso Mthethwa
Director
Sfiso Mthethwa is an admitted Attorney of the High
Court with a deep love for media and entertainment
law with an LLB from the University of Witwatersrand. During his time at Wits University, he was part of the management team responsible for successfully applying for a broadcasting license for The Voice Of Wits (VOW 90.5) from the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa.
He was also an on-air presenter on the drive time slot and has always had a passion for media, broadcasting and ICT Law and policy development. Through this notable passion for broadcasting, he was offered an internship with Primedia, where he would sharpen his broadcasting skills and further entrench his passion for the craft.
Sfiso embarked on his legal articles in 2007. Following his admission, he then joined Price Waterhouse Coopers for several years as an Immigration Consultant before going back into practise as an attorney.
After a rewarding stint in practice, he ventured into business and co-founded Golden Fence Construction(Pty) Ltd. Following his commercial exploits, he then became a Director and Shareholder at Afroworldview, the Multichoice news channel until the channel closed in the latter part of 2018.
Sfiso returned to practice in 2020 and was appointed as a Director at Maphike Inc. in January 2022 due to his possession of a wealth of knowledge and experience to stand the firm in good stead.
